The proponents of a planned all-season road in Ontario's far north are lobbying the province for support.
The Northern Road Link Project was registered by Plamen Petkov, a consultant with Maple Leaf Strategies, this past week. The purpose of their registration, according to the filing with the integrity commissioner's office, was to secure provincial support for the namesake Northern Road Link, a proposed 120-kilometer two-lane, all-season road that will connect with two other proposed roads: the Webequie Supply Road and the Marten Falls Community Access Road.
