As pro-Palestine student protesters set up camps at several universities across Canada, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said the schools have to be trusted to manage their campuses.
He made the comments on Friday after reporters pressed him for reaction to the expansion of the encampments at post-secondary institutions across Canada.
Protesters set up encampments at McGill University in Montreal last week, with similar encampments popping up in recent days at the University of Toronto, the University of Ottawa, Western University in London and the University of British Columbia.
