Canada’s premiers wrapped up two days of meetings in Winnipeg on Wednesday where they discussed an array of topics ranging from healthcare to Arctic security, but one issue dominated the conversation — infrastructure.
“We need to have an integrated, national approach to infrastructure,” said B.C. Premier David Eby during a warp-up press conference with all of the premiers.
“Having a national strategy around infrastructure that includes things like community infrastructure, as well as highways, ports, and railways is so important. It’s in the national interest.”
