Premier Doug Ford unveiled a revamped front-bench in a surprise cabinet shuffle on Thursday, welcoming back into the fold Steve Clark, who resigned amidst the Greenbelt scandal, while handing Stephen Lecce a new assignment.
Paul Calandra is losing the government House leader post to Clark but will remain minister of housing and municipal affairs. Todd Smith will swap posts with Lecce, taking over in education, while Lecce becomes the new energy minister.
Lecce told reporters after the shuffle that he was "honoured" to take on the new post.
