Ontario NDP Leader Marit Stiles has made her pitch for addressing the province's housing crisis, which includes a plan to build a quarter of a million homes over the next decade.
"With a housing and affordability crisis of this scale, we need to think big," Stiles told reporters during a press conference in London.
Flanked by London-area MPPs and two city councillors, Stiles said the NDP will table a new bill on Monday that seeks to establish a new public agency called Homes Ontario, which would oversee the party's plan to build 250,000 "new, affordable and non-market homes over 10 years."
