A final round of grant funding of $26 million for 251 local non-profit initiatives closes the government fund that aimed to aid pandemic recovery.

The Ontario government is pledging $26 million for grant funding this year.

The funds are destined to 251 local initiatives from non-profit entities, and mark the seventh and final round of the Ontario Trillium Foundation’s (OTF) resilient communities fund.

The OTF fund was put in place in August 2020 to assist non-profit organizations in Ontario in tackling challenges stemming from the pandemic. The OTF is an agency of the Ministry of Tourism, responsible for managing the fund.
