NDP leader Marit Stiles on Thursday challenged Doug Ford to address Ontario's healthcare crisis with urgency.

In a press conference, Stiles said that last year hundreds of ERs and urgent care centres closed due to lack of staff, forcing people to travel for medical help.

"At its heart, this is a staffing crisis. We are losing healthcare workers at an extraordinary rate, far faster than the province can recruit them," Stiles said.
