Liberal MPP urges province to halt Ontario Science Centre relocation

Liberal MPP Adil Shamji called on the Ford government to “save the Ontario Science Centre” after a day-long summit that claimed its relocation plans were “worrisome and built on misinformation.”

In a press conference on Thursday, Shamji said the summit had formulated a “concrete, comprehensive plan to bring the demolition and relocation of the Ontario Science Centre to a screeching halt.”

He said that details of that plan are not yet ready for public consumption, and didn’t provide a specific date for when it would be released.
