Many people have asked me if I think Mike Schreiner will seek the leadership of the Ontario Liberals. The short answer is, of course he will. That is beyond any doubt.

Why? Read on.

First, we need to remember that this idea isn’t new. It was first suggested by Steve Paikin on TVO in September 2022, mere months after the last Ontario election. An “intriguing or nutty idea,” he called it at the time. Schreiner said he had no interest then.
