Ghamari says she's considering 'next steps' after removal from PC caucus

"I don't yet know what the future holds for me, but I am feeling very hopeful and optimistic," she posted, adding "when one door closes, another opens."

Goldie Ghamari says she's taking some time to consider "next steps" but maintains committed to supporting "conservative policies" in her first public statement since she was ejected from the Progressive Conservative caucus.

The Carleton MPP said in a post on X on Tuesday that she was "disappointed with [Premier] Doug Ford's unilateral decision" to remove her from the party's ranks, which came after Ghamari shared a screenshot of herself talking with Tommy Robinson, a notorious far-right, anti-Islamic activist who founded the English Defence League.
