Karim Bardeesy, a former senior staffer to Ontario premiers Kathleen Wynne and Dalton McGuinty, is stepping back into the political arena — this time as the federal Liberal candidate for Taiaiako’n–Parkdale—High Park.
Bardeesy, who ran provincially in 2022, says this federal election is about more than partisan politics and in an interview with QP Briefing, explained why he believes Canadian sovereignty, economic stability and democratic integrity are on the line.
“We haven’t seen an election like this since the 1995 Quebec referendum. People are plugged in around a single issue: the future of the country.”
