Mississauga Mayor Bonnie Crombie is diving into the race for the leadership of the Ontario Liberals.

Crombie on Tuesday announced that she's forming an exploratory committee for a leadership run, the first step towards running for the party's top job.

She made the announcement Tuesday as she made the rounds with media outlets. A source close to her campaign confirmed the news to QP Briefing and said no press conference was planned for Tuesday.
