Bailão, Chow out in front in new Mainstreet poll of Toronto mayoral race

As nominations open for Toronto’s mayoral race, a new poll shows former councillor Ana Bailão and ex-MP Olivia Chow drawing the most support ahead of the June 26 vote.

A new Mainstreet Research poll has Chow drawing the support of 24 per cent of decided voters and Bailão with 23 per cent, putting the two in a statistical tie as the difference between the two politicians is less than the margin of error.

Former police chief and ex-Ontario PC candidate Mark Saunders sits back in third place with 13 per cent.
