Advocates and local politicians in Ottawa are calling on the Ford government to intervene and stop the planned redevelopment of a golf course in the Kanata suburbs.

The City of Ottawa, Kanata-Carleton Liberal MPP Karen McCrimmon and community groups have all lined up against a proposal from ClubLink to transform its Kanata Lakes golf course into a new residential area, complete with 1,500 homes.
